online secondhand book dealers catalogues
online secondhand book dealers
Browse through the online book catalogue at Lake Macquarie Secondhand Books, one of Australia’s largest online secondhand book dealers. We have thousands of used and rare books, our packing and postage is second to none. We combine postage we also have many thousands of books in stock and were always adding to our inventory.
Plethora online secondhand book dealers
There thousand of booksellers online secondhand book dealers on the net, when you consider that anyone can sell books on eBay or Gumtree or many other sites similar, but I’m sad to say that most only do it for a short time when they realize the commitment you have to make collecting describing storing & packing and posting books. Unless your prepared to go the extra mile.
online secondhand book dealers face mountain of work
What with the demise of second bookshops caused by high rents and various government charges, such as postage costs that are higher for posting books to customers from Australia, than the cost from many overseas countries. Its hard enough to run a business without the added costs of doing business in Australia. There are also the new digital books that will I think quickly change the book market in ways we haven’t fully comprehended just yet.
only choice is online secondhand book dealers
Then you have to go to the online secondhand book dealers to find those books you are looking for. Sure you can go to the charity shops or the markets get luck every now and then. But for the canny booksellers they can’t afford to sell their best books at the local markets. While this will be good for the book dealer it will probably tend to make it harder for the small time collector. This will mean the the chances for finding that rare copy you simply have to have is going be limited. But will this be enough to keep small sellers & larger collectors in the market or will the smaller sellers disappear?
A crystal ball & the online secondhand book dealer
What will be the future for the online secondhand book dealers? I have my ideas and will talk more about it latter. If you have any ideas I would love to hear from you.
