Wattle Day 1st September

Well spring is finally here and what a beautiful day it is. 1st September, 2010  Wattle Day as well and a few trees are in blossom.  Here at OzzBooks we are having a spring clean and on offer at the moment is 30% off our used fiction books.

We have a huge selection of used fiction to choose from, my favourite at the moment is one by an Australian author, Robert G. Barrett called Leaving Bondi.  Other Barrett titles are available, Rosemaries Baby, Mudcrab Boogie.  In  Leaving Bondi Les Norton is the main character.  The Leaving Bondi Adventure is set in Sydney, The Blue Mountains and Victor Harbor in South Australia and is a cracking murder mystery.

Well worth a read and with 30%  off our used fiction books it is quite a bargain.

Other  used book titles that are really good to read are John Marsdens‘ Tomorrow series. Tomorrow When the War Began, The Dead of the Night and The Third Day of the Frost.  These books are teenage fiction.

BTW:  The day was originally conceived as a day to demonstrate patriotism for the new nation of Australia by wearing a sprig of wattle. Oh my have we come a long way from those days and for the better I bet.
